- S. 1(1) This Act may be called the Nagaland Prevention of Defacement of Property Act 1985
- S. 2in this Act, unless the context otherwise requires
- S. 3Section penalizes defacing public property with a fine or imprisonment, holding responsible officers if done for third parties.
- S. 4An offence punishable under this Act, shall be cognizable
- S. 5Section 5 empowers the Nagaland State Government to remove defacements from property, overriding other laws.
