(1) Whenever any land in the State is proposed to be acquired for the purpose of conservation, development, exploration or exploitation of any land and its resources or for the establishment or development of any industry or for any other purposes of this Act, such acquisition shall he deemed to be needed for a public purpose. 3 of 1965 (2) The provisions of the Nagaland (Requisition and Acquisition) Act, 1965 shall apply to every acquisition of land for the purposes specified in Sub-section (1), and in its application to any acquisition of land for any such purpose, the Act aforesaid shall apply subject to the following amendments, namely:- (i) in Section 2, in the Explanation to Clause (a), for the words “and easements”, the words “easements and minerals and minerals oils” shall be substituted; (ii) after Section 9, the following Section shall be inserted, namely:- Speedy acquisition of land for mineral development etc.
