(1) This Act may be called the Nagaland (Ownership and Transfer of Land and its Resources) Act, 1990. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Nagaland. (3) Sections 4, 10, 11, 16, 20, 60, 72, to 76, (both inclusive) and 87 shall come into force on the appointed day and the remaining provisions of this Act shall be deemed always to have come into force on the 1st day of December, 1963 that is to say, the date on which the Constitution (Thirteenth Amendment) Act, 1963 came into force. Definitions
