Operation of Bank Accounts: Save as otherwise provided in this Act, no payment shall be made from the bank account referred to in section 89 out of the Municipal Fund except on cheque signed by: (a) in the case of Municipal Council: j) the Chairperson or if so authorized by the Chairperson, the Deputy Chairperson or an elected member, as the case may be; and (u) the Chief Executive Officer and (b) in the case of Town Council: (iii) Chairperson, or if so authorized by the Chairperson, the Deputy Chairperson or an elected member, as the case maybe, and (iv) the Executive Officer.
