Resignation of Chairperson! Deputy Chairperson: - (1) The Chairperson! Deputy Chairperson may at any time by writing under his hand addressed to the Deputy Commissioner, resign from his office. (2) A copy of the resignation shall be sent to the Chief Executive Officer for placing before the Municipal Council. (3) The resignation shall take effect on the expiry of a period of 15 (fifteen) days from the date of the delivery of resignation to the Government through the Deputy Commissioner. Provided that the Chairperson or Deputy Chairperson, as the case may be withdraw his resignation within the aforesaid period.
