Removal of Chairperson! Deputy Chairperson by Government: Notwithstanding anything contained in section 13, the Chairperson or Deputy Chairperson may be removed from office by the Government at any time by an order in writing on any ground(s) provided under section 16 on ground(s) of misuse of his power or on persistent failure to perform his duties Provided that before passing any such order a reasonable opportunity of being heard shall be given to the Chairperson or Deputy Chairperson.
