Special Audit: In addition to the audit of accounts under section 109 the Government may, if it thinks fit, appoint a person having prescribed qualifications to conduct a special audit pertaining to any specified item or series of items requiring thorough examination and the provisions of this Chapter relating to audit shall, mutatis- mutandis, apply to such special audit.
