Penalty for molestation of debtor: (1) Whoever molests or abets the molestation of any debtor for he recovery of any loan shall punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year or with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees or with both. (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code Criminal Procedure, 1898 (Central Act 5 of 1898), an offence under this Section shall be cognizable and bailable.
