SHORT TITLE AND COMMENCEMENT. (1) This Act may be called the NAGALAND MINISTER'S SALARIES AND ALLOWANCES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1999. (2) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in Official Gazette appoint. (2) AMENDMENT OF SECTION 2: Section 2 of the Nagaland Minister's Salaries and Allowance Act 1964 (Nagaland Act No. 4 of 1964), shall be substituted by the following as hereunder: SALARIES OF MINISTER'S - THERE SHALL BE PAID - (a) To the Chief Minister, a salary of Rupees Ten Thousand per mensem. (b) To each Minister, a salary of Rupees Nine Thousand per mensem (c) To each Minister of State, a salary of Rupees Eight Thousand Five Hundred per mensem. (d) To each Deputy Minister, a salary of Rupees Eight Thousand Three Hundred per mensem. (e) To each Parliamentary Secretary, a salary of Rupees Eight Thousand Three Hundred per mensem.
