Maintenance ofAccounts and other registers (a) The Council shallmaintain the following registers:- (1) Cash Books (2) Ledger (3) Stock register (4) Receipt books (5) Register for grants (6) Voucher files (7) Attendance roll (8) Register of leave accounts (9) Service books and (1 0) Other register as may be necessary (b) The annual accounts shall be audited in accordance with statutory and administrative requirements as applicable. (c) Bank Account of the Council shall be openedNationalized/Scheduled Banks. The RegistrariDeputy Registrar and the Accounts Officer of the Council shall be the authorized signatory of Bank Accounts of the Council. (d) The Council may deposit its own hnds in fxed deposits inNationalized1 Scheduled Banks or may invest its own funds in any of the securities specified by the Registrar.
