Special procedure for registration in certain cases: (1) No person who possesses amedical qualification granted by any authority inany place outside the tenitory of India(0therthanthe qualijicationspecifid inthe i st, the Second or the Third Schedules to the IndianMedical Council Act, 1956) shall be registered under this Act, unless the procedure specified in subsection (2) has been followed (2) Any person, who holds such m&cal qml&cation, may apply to the Council for registration by giving a correct description of his qualication, with this decree, diploma, license or certificate. The Council shall transmit the same to the Medical Council of India for opinion and shall act according to the opinion.
