(i) The State Government may make rules for carrying out the purposes of this Act, (ii) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing provisions, the State Government may make rules :— (a) prescribing the manner in which an area may be declared to be an infected area or a compulsory inoculation area. (b) prescribing the form of notice issued under subsection (2) of section 13, section 14 and sub-section (3) of section 15. (c) Prescribing the form of certificate granted under section 16. (d) Providing for the custody of animals detained under this Act and for their feeding and watering while under detention and prescribing the charges, to be levied for feeding and watering such animals and their production by for the police before Veterinary officer. (e) Regulating the sale of animals liable to be sold under section 20. (f) providing for the dissolving where infective animals are kept infected area, (g) prescribing the manner of disposal of infective animals under section 21. (h) prescribing the fee for vaccination and marking under section 6. (iii) Every rule under this section shall be laid, as soon as may be, after it is made, before the Nagaland Legislative Assembly while it is session for a total period of fourteen days, which may be comprised in one session or in two successive sessions an if before the expiry of the session in which it is so laid or the session immediately following the Nagaland Legislative Assembly agree in making any modification in the rule or the Nagaland Legislative Assembly agree that the rule should not be made, the rule shall thereafter have effect only in such modified form or be of no effect as the case may be, however that any such modification or annulment shall be without prejudice to the validity of anything previously done under that rule.
