If Veterinary officer, after due examination of an animal and such enquiry, as may be necessary, is of opinion that such animal is infective, he may by order in writing direct the owner of such animal. (a) to keep it where it is for the time being, or remove it, or allow it to be removed to such place of isolation or segregation as may he specified in the order.
