Penalty For Maliciously Giving False Information Any person who maliciously and falsely gives information to any person exercising powers under this Act leading to a search, seizure, detention or arrest shall, on conviction be punished with imprisonment for a term which way extend to six months or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees or with both.
