Permit for Bonafide Medical and Other Purpose:- (1) The State Government may by rules, or by an order in writing, authorize an officer to grant permit to any person, or institution, for the purchase, possession, or use of liquor or any article containing liquor for a bonafide medicinal, scien- tific or industrial purpose : (2) The State Government may, by rules or order in writing authorize an officer to grant permit for the purchase, possession, or use of any liquor or denatured spirit for the manufacture of any articles mentioned in section 4 on such conditions as may be prescribed : Provided further that, no permit shall be necessary for the possession of denatured spirit unto such quantity as may be prescribed.
