Definition.- 2. In this Act and for the purpose thereof “Member” means a member of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, other than the Speaker or Deputy Speaker of Assembly, a Minister, a Minister of State, a Deputy Minister, a Parliamentary Secretary to the Government of Nagaland. Salaries.- 3. There shall be paid to each member a salary at the rate of rupees [three hundred]1 per mensem. Allowances.- 4. There shall be paid to each member the following allowances in connection with his duties as member of the Assembly ; (i) Daily allowance at the rate of rupees twenty per day when his attendance is required at Kohima in connection with his duties as a member. For other places [within the State of Nagaland]2 the member shall draw allowances at the rate of rupees [fifteen]3 per day, and
