(1) There shall be a whole time Finance Officer for the University who shall be appointed by the Chancellor. (2) The Chancellor, onhis subjective satisfaction, may replace the Finance Officer by any other Officer in the employment of the University or by special recruitment, in which case, the outgoing Finance Officer, if he is considered fi$ shall be assigned some other duties in the University. Powers and Functions of Fiance Officer 26 (1) The F i c e Officer shall be responsible for assisting the Chancellor, the Pro Chancellor, the Vice Chancellor, the other Officers, the Councils, Committees, Bodies and other authorities of the University inmanagingthe administmtion of the finances of the University subject to regulations. (3) The Chancellor may co-opt. the Finance Officer in any other Council, Committee, Board or authority ofthe University.
