(1) The Executive Council shall meet at least once in three months. (2) The Chairman or in his absence, the Vice Chairman or in the absence of both, the Secretary shall preside over the meetings. (3) All meetings of the Council shall he called by the Secretary at fifteen days notice. (4) If any three members ofthe Council desire ameeting to discuss amatter of urgent importance, the Secretary shall call a meeting forthwith and the requirement offifteen days notice shall be deemed to have been waived. (5) Two-fifth members shall constitute quonun. (6) All questions shall be decided by majority of members present and voting. (7) Each member shall have one vote and in case of tie, the Presiding Officer shall have an additional casting vote. (8) ifbusiness ofthe Council has to be transacted urgently without waiting for a formal meeting to take place, the Pro Chancellor may authorize the circulation ofquestions to the members for decision, which shall be deemed as valid decision ofthe Council for action; however, such decisions shall be circulated at the earliest to all concerned for information and compliance. (9) All other details relating to the conduct ofmeetings, fimctions etc., of the Executive Council shall be as per re~alations. Academic Council
