Preamble. It is expedient to amend the Nagaland Deputy Speaker’s Salary and Allowances Act, 1964 (Nagaland Act No.7 of 1964), hereinafter Principal Act, in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted in the Twentieth year of the Republic of India as follows 1.Short title and commencement. (1)This Act may be called the Nagaland Deputy Speaker’s Salary and Allowances (Amendment) Act, 1969. (2)It shall come into force with effect from 1st September, 1969. 2.Amendment of Section 4 and of Nagaland Act. No. 7 of 1964. (1)In Sub-section (2) of section 4 of the Principal Act, for the words “rupees two hundred per mensem” the words “rupees two hundred and fifty per mensem” shall be substituted. (2)In Section 9 of the Principal Act, for the words “rupees one hundred and fifty per mensem” the words “rupees two hundred and fifty per mensem” shall be substituted.
