(1) The Director may remove a member, Chairman or Vice- Chairman of the committee where he is of the opinion that he :- (a) has been guilty of misconduct or gross negligence of duty as member, Chairman or Vice- Chairman; (b) ceases to hold the qualification necessary for his being a member, Chairman or Vice-Chairman; (2) No order of removal under Sub-section (1) shall be passed unless the person concerned has been given reasonable opportunity of submitting an explanation in respect of the allegations against him, Supersession of Committee.
