The State Government shall exercise superintendence and control over the Board and its Officers and may call for such information as it may deem necessary and, in the event of its being satisfied that the Board is not functioning properly, it may suspend the Board and till such time as a new Board is constituted, make such arrangements for the exercise of the functions of the Board as it may think fit: Provided that the Board shall be constituted within six months from the date of its suspension. Allowances to Members of the Board. 61, The members of the Board other than ex-officio member shall be paid from the State Marketing Development Fund such sitting fees and allowances as may be fixed by the State Government from time to time for attending its meeting and for attending to an other work, assigned to them by Board.
