Powers of Managing Director to remove Chairperson or Vice-Chairperson or Member of the Market Committee (fl The Managing Director may remove Chairperson in consultation with Government! Administration: or Vice-Chairperson and Menihers of Market Committee in consultation with Chairperson where he is of the opinion that the said functionary: (a) has been guilty of misconduct or gross negligence of duty as Chairperson, Vice- Chairperson or a Member; (b) ceases to hold the qualifications necessary for being a Chairperson. Vice-Chairperson or Member. (2) No order of removal under sub-section (1) shall be passed unless the person concerned has been given reasonable opportunity of being heard in respect of the allegations against him. 3) The Board may suspend any member or Chairperson. Vice-Chairperson of a Market Committee, who has been served with a notice under sub-section (1) or sub-section (2). as the case may be, and against whom complaints have been received or who commits irregularities after the service of such notice, for a period either from the date of receipt of complaint or from the date the irregularities come to the notice of MD, till the final decision is taken in his case.
