It shall be lawful for any officer authorised in this behalf to specify or cause to be constructed, laid out, maintained or repaired, boundary marks of villages or survey numbers or sub-divisions or Survey Stations and to assess all charges in-curred thereby and an interest on any land which has been surveyed under this Act.
