(1) This Act may be called the Mizoram State Agricultural Produce Marketing (Development and Commencement & Regulation) (Amendment) Act, 2010. (2) It shall have the like extent as the Principal Act. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint in this behalf. Amendment In Section 2 of the Principal Act, after sub-section 32, a new sub-section 32-A shall of Section 2 be inserted, namely :- “32-A “Meat” will all grammatical variations and cognate provisions means and includes meat generally eaten in Mizoram, viz pork, mutton, beef, chicken, fish”. Amendment of In section 85 of the Principal Act after clause (XV) of sub-section (2), a new clause XVI Section 85 shall be added, as follows :- “XVI to fix selling rates of meat which are sold by weighment as may be required from time to time by a notification in the Gazette”.
