Amendment of 1) In clause (a) of sub-section (1) of Section 14 of the Principal Act, Section 14 for the words “five lakh rupees” the words “ten lakh rupees” shall be substituted. 2) After clause (ii) of sub-section (4) of Section 14 of the Principal Act, a new clause (iii) shall be added as follows, namely:- “(iii) Where a pensioner having obtained a loan or advance under clause (a) or (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 14 dies, the amount of the loan or the advance, as the case may be, or any part thereof which would have accrued on the date of the death of the pensioner in accordance with the terms and conditions of the loan or the advance along with interest thereon shall be written off, with the sanction of the authority as may be prescribed by the Government from time to time”.
