Amendment of new After Section 18 of the Principal Act, a new Section 18 A may be added as Section 18 A follows, namely:- “18 A. Medical Treatment of Pensioner and Spouse - A pensioner and his spouse shall be entitled to re-imbursement of medical expenses if hospitalised in Government recognised hospital in and outside the State. However, travelling expenses will not be provided in connection with such medical treatment”.
