Amendment of the section 7.- Section 7 of the Mizoram (Restriction on use of Transferred Lands) Act, 2002 shall be substituted as follows, namely:- VOL - LII Aizawl, Monday 27.2.2023 Phalguna 8, S.E. 1944, Issue No. 105 - 2 - Ex-105/2023 “7. PENALTY FOR CONTRAVENTION OF THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ACT. Whoever contravenes or abets the contravention of the provisions of section 4 or section 5 of this Act, shall be punishable with monetary fine which may amount to ` 5,000/- (Rupees Five thousand only), and in the case of a continuing contravention, with an additional fine which may extend to five hundred rupees for everyday during which such contravention continues.” Secretary, Law & Judicial, PAD, Govt. of Mizoram.
