PUNISHMENT FOR CONTRAVENTION OF CERTAIN PROVISIONS,- (1) Any person who contravenes the provisions of Section 4 of this Act shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to seven years or with fine which may extend to one lakh, or with both. (2) Any person who contravene the provisions of Section 8 or any of the rules made under this Act or any of the conditions of Licence issued herein shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years, or with fine which may extend to fifty thousand, or with both.
