Powers and responsibilities of the Director General of Police.- As head of the state Police Force, it shall be the responsibility of the Director General of Police to; (a) operationalise the policies, the Strategic Plan and the Annual Plan prepared by the State Government. (b) administer, control and supervise the Police Service to ensure its efficiency, effectiveness, responsiveness and accountability.
