Powers of District Superintendent of Police to be exercised by Commissioner of Police.- All powers, functions and duties of the District Superintendent of Police described in this Act shall be exercised, in respect of areas notified under Section 59 of Chapter VII, by the Commissioner of Police or any other officer authorized in this behalf.
