Section 3 A of the Principal Act, shall be substituted by the following, namely :- Section 3 A “Family Pension : The family of a deceased member shall be entitled to receive a family pension at the rate of Rs. 6,000/- (Rupees six thousand) per month with an annual increment at the rate of 5% Simple Interest and upto a maximum amount of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) per month w.e.f. the date of commencement of the Amendment Act of 2013 and subject to the provision contained hereinafter. Provided that in no case increment previously earned under the existing Act should be taken into account for calculation of family pension”. P.
