Right of a woman leaving her husband on mâk: (1) If the husband divorces his wife on mak except on ground of adultery or deprivation of her husband of his conjugal right, she will have share over the acquired property of any kind. The personal property of the woman shall not be disturbed. (2) If a man divorces his wife on ground of adultery or deprivation of his conjugal right except on health ground, she will have a share over the acquired property not exceeding 25 % alongwith her personal property. Explanation : ‘ma’/‘mâk’ means a wife divorced by her husband.
