Short title, extent and commencement : (1) This Act may be called the Mizo Marriage, Divorce and Inheritance of Property Act, 2014. (2) It extends to the whole of Mizoram except the three Autonomous Districts in Mizoram constituted under the Sixth Schedule to the Constitution of India. (3) It shall come into force from the date the Government may by Notification in the Official Gazette appoint. - 2 - Ex-570/2014
