Place of Hearing Any Revenue Officer who is authorized by an order of the government mayexercise his powers under this Act at any place within the local limits of his jurisdiction. Provided that a Sub-Divisional Officer or Settlement Officer or Assistant Settlement Officer may inquire into or hear any case only at the headquarters to which he is appointed.
