Amendment of Section 3 : 2. In section 3 of the Mizoram Compulsory Registration of Marriages Act, 2007 (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act), the following proviso shall be added, namely :- “Provided that no registration of marriages shall be allowed in case the applicant or any of the contracted parties is found prohibited to enter into such marriage under the relevant provisions of the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006 (Central Act No. 6 of 2007).” P.
