Examination of animals Every animal brought to the slaughter house for slaughter shall be :- (a) subjected to ante-mortem examination, to determine its fitness for slaughter for human consumption; (b) segregated if found unfit for either treatment or destruction as deemed proper by the Meat Inspector; (c) allowed to be slaughtered, if found fit.
