Section 352-O

Acceptance of certificate issued outside India

Any certificate issued by a competent authority in any country outside India to a ship registered in that country or any certificate issued by a competent authority of any country which is a contracting party to the International Convention on Civil Liability for Oil Pollution Damage signed at Brussels on the 29th day of November, 1969 [as amended from time to time] to any ship wherever registered, shall be accepted at any port or place in India as if it were issued under this Act.
