(1) The Board may frame Housing Schemes and execute works and incur expenditure in connection therewith on such terms and conditions as the Government may direct. (2) The board may, subject to approval of the Government undertake and execute any housing scheme on behalf of a District Council, Local authority, Co-operative Society or any Organisation or Association for providing residences to their employees.
