(1) The Deputy Commissioner shall, by notification or otherwise, divide a delineated market area into as much number of constituencies equal to the number of the representatives of the agriculturist to be chosen from such area but not less than ten. (2) In case of direct election for agriculturist Members to a Market Committee, reservation of seats for scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, other backward classes and women will be as per the Government policy, as may be prescribed.
