(1) Where a society accepts a gift of any kind from any person for a specific purpose it shall not use the gift or any part thereof for any other purpose without the written consent of the donor or if the donor is dead, without the written consent of the Registrar. The Registrar shall not give such consent unless he is satisfied that the purpose for which the gift was made is incapable of execution by the society. (2) For contravention of the provision of this section every officer in default shall be punishable with fine which may extend to rupees two hundred and fifty.
