(1) The Authority shall consist of a Chairperson, not below the rank of Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya and such other members as the State Government may determine and notify from time to time. (2) The Authority shall have a Technical Cell to be headed by a person not below the rank of Chief Engineer, for handling all technical matters related to the development, operations and maintenance of the ropeway projects. (3) The Authority may also appoint other subordinate officers with such designations and assign to them such powers, duties and functions as may be necessary for carrying out the purposes of this Act.
