(1) The Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, make rules for carrying out the purposes of this Act. (2) Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing powers the rules may provide for : - (a) the amount of fees to be provided under sub-section (l)of section 6 and sub-section (1) of section 7 of this Act; (b) any other matter which may by rule be prescribed. (3) Every rule made under this section shall, as soon as after it is made, be laid before the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly.
