Mental health - psychological assessment and treatment- (1) The Government may, by a general or special order, direct the transfer of any prisoner with mental illness from the place of detention to any mental health establishment in the State in accordance with section 103 of the Mental Healthcare Act, 2017 (10 of 2017). (2) The method, modalities and procedure by which transfer of a prisoner under this section is to be effected, shall be such as may be prescribed under the rules.
