(1) The State Government may, on the recommendation of the market committee supported by atleast two-third of the total members or on the recommendation of the Board, remove any member of the market committee, if such a member has in the opinion of the State Government, been guilty of misconduct, in the discharge of his duties or has become incapable of performing his duties as a member. Provided that no recommendation shall be made by the made by the market committee or the Board unless the member has been given a reasonable opportunity of showing cause why such recommendation should not be made; Provided further that no order for removal of any member shall be passed by the State Government unless the member has been given a reasonable opportunity of showing cause why such order should not be passed. (2) The decision of the State Government under sub- section (1) shall be final.
