(1) In sub-section (2) of Section 18 of the Principal Act the words “the utiliSatxon of” shall be deleted. (2) A new proviso shall be added to sub—sectiou (2.) of Section 18 of the Principal Act namely :—— “Provided further that if in the opinion of the State Government, any State Khas lands can be more appro- priately used by “the State Government it may exempt such Khaslands from the provision of this sub-section.”
