(1) The Authority shall, from time to time, with the sanction of ·the State Government, specify the minimum width for different classes 'f public roads according to the nature of the traffic likely to ..,e earned there, the localities i11 which they are situated, the heizhts up to which buildings abutting thereon may be erected and other similar considerations. ('2) The width of a ? public road shall not be less than that prescribed in sub-section (!) or that shown on the plan for the class ro which it belon? areas for which a plan has been prepared.
