(1) This'Act may, be called the Salary and Allowances of Chairman of the Manipur Legislative Assembly (Hill Areas Com- mittee) (Amendment) Act, 1981. (2) ' It shall be deemed to ,have come into force on the lst day of April, 1981. . _ . . _2; '(1) In section 3 of the Salary and Allowances of Chairman of theManipur Legislative Assembly (Hill Areas Committee) Act, 1972 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "a Minister Of State", the words "a Minister” shall be substituted. (2)} After the existing section 3 of the prihcipal Act, the following explanation shall be ihserted, namely,— ‘ “Explanation :—-—For the purpose of this section ”a Minister’ ' means a Cabinet Member of the Council of Ministers”.
