• 3 An Act to impose a lax on molor vehicles in IIPunjabJ. Whereas It IS expedient to Impose a tax on motor vehicles in l[PunJab] and whereas the previous sanction of the Governor-General under sub-section (3) of seeboR 80-A of the Government of India Act has been obtalned; it 15 hereby enacted as follows :- I. (I) The Act may be called the Punjab Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, Short litle, C'tlcnt .nd commence· ment (2) It extends to l[Punjab.] (3) It shall come into force on the 1st day of April, 1925.
