Term of the office of the Pradhan and Up-Pradhan.—(1) The term of office of every Pradhan and Up-Pradhan of the Gram Panchayat shall, save as otherwise provided in this Act, cease on the expiry of the term of the Gram Panchayat. (2) Pradhan and Up-Pradhan shall be entitled to such honoraria and other allowances, as may be prescribed. (3) Every member of the Gram Panchayat shall be entitled to receive such honoraria and allowances as may be fixed by the Government from time to time.
