Every person employed by the Authority or by a Board under this Act shall, for the purposes of sections 166 to 171 (both inclusive), 184, 185 and 409 of Indian Penal Code (45 of 1860) and for the purposes of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (49 of 1988) be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the said Code.] Subs. by Act 15 of 1997, sec. 26, for section 112 (w.r.e.f. 09/01/1997).
